CPD Workshop for Therapists
– with Graham Kennish,
Accredited Member of BACP
This workshop introduces Psychophonetic’s effective and efficient approach and is an opportunity to create your own new tools for self-help and self-care.
Psychophonetics is unique in its ability to be both a powerful form of psychotherapy as well as an effective self-help resource for therapists themselves, of any modality. This workshop is designed for professionals who work in a caring way with people and can feel impacted by that relationship.
Psychophonetics uses the language of gesture and sound for clients to reveal their psychological life-body dynamics beneath symptoms. It does not seek explanations or interpretations, and does not delve into the past.
A new gesture and sound ‘remedy’, created during a session, can then be taken away and practised. Old emotional habitual patterns are weakened and new ones form, strengthening a sense of ‘being present’ alongside vulnerability.
Graham Kennish is a fully qualified psychophonetics practitioner (BACP Accredited). Graham lives in Gloucesterhsire, and as well as his psychophonetics private practice is a Steiner school science teacher and a driving instructor, giving him diverse opportunities to bring psychophonetics into real-life situations.
