This little known, pioneering modality, based on Rudolf Steiner’s spiritual psychology, allows access to the emotional body in present time – not by going back into the past – and is rooted in a deep understanding of the soul’s forces and the functions of the life-body.

Patterns of fear, anger and anxiety can be accessed safely and objectively through gesture. New gestures can be created which counteract them in the way that the immune system matches the protein structure of a disease organism. We can emotionally immunise ourselves.

The effects are immediate. We actually see our own patterns, experience them and work creatively to match them, and watch them dissolve. We find we can respond and no longer just react.   We become more present as ‘Captain of our ship.’

This can be self-care for the carer and self-help for the sufferer – self-directed. Each person can follow their own process in emotional freedom, with no pressure, interpretation or analysis.

Graham Kennish is a fully qualified and BACP Accredited Psychophonetics Practitioner and holds workshops in Psychophonetics internationally.

In his private practice in Gloucestershire, as a Steiner school science teacher and as a driving instructor, he finds diverse opportunities to bring Psychophonetics into real-life situations.
